a random thought on a random day

It's funny. I think I have a horrible memory. There are things people ask me, "Oh you remember when ..." and I don't. But then sometimes memories just pop up out of nowhere.

I really wanted a dirt bike when I was kid. Like pre/early teens. Not a BMX bike, a small motorcycle. My mom was having none of that. Very anti-motorcycle after my dad almost killing himself on a road bike ... and then I "outgrew" it. Or did I? Is 32 an absurd age to take up something like that?

I would take up dirt bikes any time. It was so much fun when I did that in my early 20s. Of course, I am not an example of good sense.

I'm told it's good exercise. Interesting weight loss plan if nothing else.
