new year 2007, the lists

5 Things I'm glad I did in 2006

  1. Living on my own again.
  2. Having the nerve to act single again, no matter how bumbling and frequently inadvertent the results may have been at times.
  3. BUYING LAND!!! Did I mention I bought land? I BOUGHT LAND ALL BY MYSELF!!!
  4. Making new friends ... both online and off.
  5. 365 Days ... although I didn't get back into drawing, or start painting like I thought I might, I did *something* artistic, and it's been great.

5 Things I want to do in 2007

  1. Go back to the UK, and see more of Europe. I didn't make it overseas this year, and I'm seriously jonesing.
  2. Get a snowmachine ... probably not 'till next winter, but hopefully by the end of the year.
  3. Be more organized about my work (and therefore more productive, and therefore hopefully more profitable).
  4. Be more physically active.
  5. I have a friend who swears she can teach me to be a guilt-free ho. Given that I've spent my life thus far looking for Relationships, I think a change of tactic might be nice for a while.

Isn't that funny? Everyone down south calls them snowmobiles, and everyone up here calls them snowmachines ...

Ah well, the guy teaching me to ride moved here from Minnesota, and he calls them snowmachines. Apparently you just haven't lived here long enough yet. ;-) You'll assimilate eventually.
