Sniffing out the Winnie the Pooh fans there... ;-)

Been all sorts of a busybody lately, but mostly in a good way. Catching up on a lot of those "gee, I really oughtta" things on my to-do list, and taking the time to do things I enjoy and actually *want* to do.

thyroidstory.mivox.com explains a bit of what I've been up to since the end of September. Not part of the fun stuff, but important nontheless... Also have learned to knit. That's a bit random, I know, but it's one of those weird little things I've been wanting to do, and the ex bought me a 'learn to knit' kit for my birthday.

So this week I've been able to give a friend of mine an extra-long winter scarf, and have various other projects planned. Have made x-mas presents for the ex's kids as well: bracelets for all three. It's nice to know I've got some stuff out of the way ahead of time for a change.

Looking for a cabin to buy. The snow is on the ground, so I'm hoping people who's cabins didn't sell over the summer will be a little more open to negotiation... hehe. Fingers crossed. Been enjoying a few odd bits of synchronicity lately, and I'm hoping that little run of luck will bleed over into the house search... more on that in a bit. :-)

del.icio.us.orati stuff: , , , ,

You've passed your luck on to me. There I was, about to start constructing a site using drupal, when I disciver that you've used it for this one. I look forward to reading your comments on how you're finding it.

Good to have you back! The web is not the same without your comments on the world.

Oh, I love drupal. :-) It's incredibly easy to administer once you've gotten everything up and running. If you're going with one of the pre-made templates (and there are a lot of them), and not doing too much customization, it takes mere minutes to install and start up.

Now, if you're like me, and you can never leave well enough alone... Well, it can turn into an indefinite tinkering project. But I consider that a plus. ;-)

(And thanks for the welcome back!)
